My role

User experience, research, prototyping, UI design. Built and maintained a design system with fully functional component variants. Art direction and brand design. Built user dashboard, marketplace, and marketplace builder. Redesign and refresh web page and logo.

Results

Created powerful touchpoint between the brand and the customer with reward-based programming. Designed a fully functional affiliate program, user dashboard and marketplace followed by easy and user friendly marketplace builder. Every process was based on web 2 workflow and experience on a web 3 platform.

About The Project

Chainstarters is all-in-one platform that enables brands to unlock the potential of NFTs to engage their customers and drive revenue. Anyone can deploy NFT collections, as well as customize their own storefront, all without any coding.

Design Challenges and Goals

Create designs to keep customers/fans loyal and highly engaged
Improve product funnels to have a high sell-through rate
Create visuals that will make sponsors, ambassadors, & brand partners more interested in NFTs
Design visuals that explain how NFTs add value to their customer experience
Make the users more curious about the potential of NFTs and blockchain technology

In-depth Interviews

3 Interviews were conducted to highlight the users needs. I also collected many helpful insights.

Logo Refresh & Branding

I did a logo refresh because it was a good way to reflect a fundamental change in our business, introducing a new refreshed and stronger logo design using 3D modeling software Autodesk Maya and render engine to get stunning results.

Design System

My journey at Chainstarters started in the middle of the project with no design system, typography or color pallet for the project. To maintain consistency and ensure efficient design to dev handover, I developed a modular design system based on reusable components and their states, such as cards, list items, and controls.

User Dashboard

The user dashboard was updated with new features and ability for the user to see there released NFTs, collections track item analytics, check out users in the network or upload files to IPFS. In the dashboard we created an option for the user to create an NFT or update and edit there marketplace. For new users I designed a simple step guide for customizing and creating their own personalized marketplace.

Showcase

These are some of the now fully functianal and responsive marketplaces that I designed, that our first users (Charlie Hewitt, Hailie Deegan and Polarys group) created with no experience in coding on our platform.

Marketplace For Mobile

Mobile optimization for the Marketplace content to ensure visitors accessing the site from mobile devices have an experience customized to that device.

Marketplace Builder

I came to an idea to create a very simple user friendly marketplace builder that users will use to build, update and upload items for sale or trade to there marketplace. The builder included an option to drop or upload hero images, design footer and navigation bar, choose buttons, colors, font family, and font size or add their own code for customizing their marketplace. First successfully released marketplace with this design was Charlie Hewitts', created with zero coding on their part. https://www.charliehewittnft.com/
